Manage and execute field engineering evaluation projects with minimal supervision. Develop UL requirements, test methods, and equipment for complex products. Conduct on-site electrical product evaluations, liaise with clients and authorities, resolve compliance issues, and lead code and regulatory projects. Provide technical guidance, represent UL externally, and support continuous improvement.

Analyze small-appliance product structures for safety compliance, develop test procedures, verify conformity to BSMI/IEC standards, coordinate with lab personnel and clients, manage case administration, resolve engineering issues related to design changes, and perform additional assigned duties to expand expertise.

Ensure reliability and metrological consistency of laboratory instruments and systems by developing and maintaining instrumentation and automated test systems, supporting installation/validation, planning and overseeing calibration activities, authoring technical documentation, managing lab projects and suppliers, driving continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma), and providing technical support, training, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure compliance and standardization.

Provide customer service and operational support in an international, fast-paced environment: manage inquiries, process orders, prepare shipping/customs paperwork, assist inventory tasks, coordinate with stakeholders across regions/time zones, maintain data in Salesforce/Oracle/Microsoft Office, follow up on open issues, and support process consistency and continuous improvement.

Lead and manage product testing projects: define scope, develop test plans and special methods, coordinate lab and field activities, communicate and negotiate with clients, resolve technical compliance issues, train and direct staff, and represent UL in technical forums.
