Lead and manage the accounting function including monthly/quarterly/annual close, insurance accounting (reserves, reinsurance, catastrophe activity), SOX compliance and audits. Provide technical GAAP accounting guidance, establish policies and controls, drive process and system improvements, partner cross-functionally, and develop high-performing accounting teams to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
