Collaborates with studio and vehicle engineering teams, using CAD and computational tools to solve complex design challenges. Requires experience with vehicle plastics, Class A manufacturing, materials, painting, tooling, fit and finish, aero features, and automotive launch programs.

Design mechanical parts, assemblies, and sheet metal components from concept to production. Perform engineering analysis, specify pumps/motors, plan prototypes, document CAD/BOM/ECNs, support production/service, run FEA/FMEA, and lead projects as needed while collaborating cross-functionally.

Architect, design, prototype, integrate, bring up, and validate electrical boards for vehicle and off-vehicle product platforms. Create schematics and PCB layouts, guide JDM/OEM design execution, test reliability and functionality, resolve issues, and influence electrical architecture. Requires technical leadership, contract manufacturer experience, and expertise in converters, high-speed signaling, data buses, analog circuits, and board design.

Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems from concept through launch. Create CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation; develop and execute prototype tests; analyze results and failures; and recommend design improvements. Collaborate with electrical, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, regulatory, and product teams. Support design reviews, risk assessments, engineering changes, project scheduling, and stakeholder updates.

Lead resolution of supplier-related production disruptions, investigate root causes, drive corrective and preventive actions, monitor supplier risks, and develop recovery and mitigation plans. Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain production continuity. Apply Lean and continuous improvement principles to improve supplier performance, standardize processes, and strengthen supply chain risk management.

Develops vehicle dynamics through proving-ground testing, subjective evaluation, and ride and handling tuning. Provides program feedback based on test results and collaborates with simulation engineers to meet vehicle requirements. Requires expertise in suspension and chassis architecture, automotive product development, and vehicle behavior. Responsibilities also include cross-functional collaboration, problem-solving, and managing multiple projects. Test-driving and racing experience, advanced engineering education, and vehicle dynamics simulation experience are preferred.

Design, develop, and release BIW upper-body structural components using NX. Coordinate with suppliers, stamping plants, body shops, manufacturing, purchasing, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability, cost, performance, and milestone compliance. Manage CBOM, Quadris, technical documentation, validation plans, DFMEA, PFMEA, and physical testing. Provide plant-launch support by troubleshooting assembly, fit-and-finish, build variation, and other production issues, while tracking corrective actions and project risks.
