Support manufacturability of mechanical subassemblies by developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, creating assembly procedures and work instructions, performing root cause analysis and corrective actions, partnering with quality for control processes, and driving continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve product quality.

Support and lead hardware integration, build, and test operations for human-rated space station systems. Plan and run tests, coordinate technicians and engineers, document and resolve non-conformances, refine manufacturing processes, and provide go/no-go decisions to keep production and testing on schedule.

Develop test procedures, perform measurements (bonding resistance, shielding effectiveness, fields, RF voltages/currents), manage test resources and calibration, support on-site and remote testing, and communicate test purpose and results to hardware teams.

The Mechanical Engineer II will design, manufacture, and test parts for artificial gravity space stations. Responsibilities include creating models, managing manufacturing processes, and supporting integration and testing.

Perform system-level reliability analyses (FTA, FMEA/FMECA, RBDs), reliability predictions, and develop/maintain spaceflight component reliability data. Support trade studies, identify critical components, assist root cause/failure investigations and risk characterization for human-rated space station systems.

Manage demand, supply, and fulfillment planning for avionics and electronic hardware. Maintain BOMs and master data, coordinate with stakeholders, drive procurement and production releases, update forecasts for ECOs, monitor obsolescence and lead times, and produce reporting (LOB, shortage, Clear-to-Build) to ensure material readiness.

Lead a multidisciplinary dynamics team to predict and verify spacecraft loads and environments across transport, ascent, docking, and on-orbit operations. Develop and validate system-level dynamic models, derive internal loads and requirements, support vibration/shock testing and qualification, correlate FEA with test/flight data, and provide technical leadership, risk management, and cross-functional coordination from concept through flight.

Lead and scale the Loads & Dynamics organization for human-rated space stations, owning technical strategy, analyses, testing, qualification, budgets, staffing, and cross-functional integration to ensure structural performance, launch certification, and on-orbit operations.
