Implement hospital business development plans, identify and manage referral sources, attend community events, coordinate admissions with internal teams, support BD strategy and budgets, and maintain strong community relationships to promote the hospital.

Build and maintain secure RESTful and event-driven APIs and MCP server implementations to allow AI agents to interact with enterprise platforms (ServiceNow, Okta, ERP). Implement authentication (OAuth2/OIDC), API gateway policies, audit logging, and monitoring. Collaborate with AI and governance teams, document integrations, and ensure secure, reliable, auditable agentic workflows.

Develop referral relationships and build census for the rehabilitation program through face-to-face outreach. Conduct patient assessments and pre-admission screens, review medical charts, communicate with physicians and care teams, provide updates to payers and referral sources, arrange in-services, and identify/resolve admission barriers.

Lead development and execution of marketing and business plans to build referral networks, manage payer relationships, oversee clinical liaison and admissions teams, forecast census and reimbursement, maintain market and competitive intelligence, and manage marketing budget and data systems to support decision-making.

Support month-end close and post-close reviews for assigned hospital sites, perform P&L and balance sheet analysis, manage joint venture accounting and regulatory filings, liaise with site leadership and technical accounting, ensure internal controls and accurate financial reporting, and assist with budgeting and variance explanations.

Build relationships with referral sources and educate the community about acute rehabilitation to drive patient census. Conduct in-person outreach, presentations, and in-services within the territory, identify admission barriers and collaborate with program leadership to resolve them. Requires frequent onsite travel and coordination with clinicians, case managers, and discharge planners.

Serve as the acute rehabilitation program liaison by performing in-person outreach to referral sources, educating stakeholders, building relationships and census, addressing admission barriers, and supporting program growth through community presentations and market engagement.
