Leads a large, multidisciplinary technical program for multi-site robotic automation deployments. Owns integrated engineering schedules, work breakdown structures, critical paths, risks, dependencies, launch readiness, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication. Coordinates software, controls, hardware, manufacturing, supply chain, and site operations teams from new product introduction through production deployment and sustainment. Establishes scalable program management standards, processes, tooling, and cadences while managing complex programs exceeding $50 million and teams of 100 or more.

Leads electrical manufacturing test architecture, fixture and interface-board development, hardware bring-up, board-level debugging, automated test software, instrumentation, and manufacturing deployment. Supports contract manufacturers, analyzes failures and test data, improves yield and reliability, defines NPI validation strategies, coordinates technical projects, and mentors engineers and technicians across cross-functional teams.

Lead software release readiness, integration, deployment, and production stabilization for warehouse automation systems. Build and support CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployments, infrastructure automation, tools, and operational processes. Troubleshoot complex application, infrastructure, database, and distributed-system issues; mentor engineers; and coordinate with Engineering, DevOps, QA, Operations, site teams, and customers. Travel 10–20% for deployment activities and release events.

Develop and maintain project material plans, track procurement and deliveries, coordinate material escalations, and ensure site readiness for installation. Maintain project tracking tools and Excel-based reporting, create material allocation reports, identify potential shortfalls through KPIs, and communicate project performance to executive stakeholders. Collaborate with procurement, project managers, suppliers, and supply chain teams to improve planning and execution.

Develop high-fidelity discrete-event and agent-based simulations for large-scale robotic warehouse systems. Build predictive and prescriptive models, digital twins, and optimization solutions for throughput, latency, scheduling, task allocation, and resource utilization. Apply machine learning and statistical methods to calibrate simulations, identify bottlenecks, and evaluate system changes. Partner cross-functionally, communicate recommendations to stakeholders, establish validation and reproducibility practices, and, at the Principal level, define strategy and mentor technical teams.

Develop and maintain robotic motion planning, motion execution, and tasking software for an automated micro-fulfillment system. Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, systems, and safety teams to define requirements. Write modular, documented Java software; conduct code reviews; and create unit, integration, and acceptance tests. The role involves reactive microservices, event-driven distributed systems, messaging platforms, robotics routing, NoSQL databases, caching, networking, Docker, and Agile development, with up to 10% travel.

Define and govern Symbotic’s GCP cloud architecture strategy and platform roadmap. Lead large-scale migration of 100+ environments, design hyperscale provisioning and petabyte-scale data architectures, and build self-service Kubernetes platforms with security, observability, disaster recovery, CI/CD, GitOps, IaC, and FinOps capabilities. Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentor engineers, govern architecture, and partner with security, AI, infrastructure, product, and engineering teams across cloud, on-premises, and edge environments.

Leads the full portfolio of retrofit projects across existing customer sites, overseeing prioritization, staffing, schedules, budgets, risks, safety, and customer escalations. Manages Site Project Managers and Field Technicians, controls costs, partners with Sales and Account Management, and establishes standardized playbooks, stage-gate governance, and delivery processes for modifications to live automation systems.

Provides advanced remote and incident support for automated robotic systems at customer sites. Troubleshoots controls, electrical, software, networking, PLC, motion-control, and infrastructure issues; leads major incident response and root-cause analysis; monitors system performance; coordinates engineering and operations teams; supports maintenance, backups, documentation, knowledge-base development, and new-site transitions.

Design and develop real-time, distributed software for robotic automation and fulfillment systems. Solve complex NP-hard optimization problems using algorithms such as graph-based optimization, bin packing, heuristics, and sequencing. Build scalable microservices with .NET technologies, analyze system performance, troubleshoot distributed components, and contribute to architecture, reliability, testing, and maintainability in an Agile/Scrum environment. Travel to customer sites may be required.
