Serves as the technical interface for customers, sales, manufacturing, supply chain, and R&D; provides technical training and problem-solving; manages laboratory resources, safety, performance, and capital planning across multiple technology platforms. The role includes customer and industry engagement, SAE committee participation, and occasional travel of up to 20%.

Leads corrective actions, supports process safety and life-critical standards, ensures permit compliance, and serves as a technical expert during plant emergencies. Requires an engineering degree and relevant chemical manufacturing experience.

The role requires field presence and occasional off-hours or weekend work during turnarounds or operational upsets.

Serves as the primary HR partner to Seadrift site leadership and employees. Advises on workforce planning, talent, organizational effectiveness, employee relations, performance management, culture, engagement, and organizational change. Leads complex employee relations matters, ensures employment-law and policy compliance, coaches leaders, and partners with HR teams to deliver integrated people solutions in a manufacturing environment.
