Employment Counsel will own U.S. employment litigation and disputes, manage external counsel, advise HR and business leaders on complex employment matters, and develop global policies, playbooks, templates, and training. The role covers wage and hour, discrimination, accommodations, classification, leave, and pay transparency issues while partnering with legal and HR teams globally. The position is based in New York, requires U.S. bar admission, and includes periodic travel to other offices.

Shape intuitive financial data, reporting, billing, reconciliation, accounting, identity, risk, and AI-assisted experiences that support customer needs and business goals.

Lead product-focused analytics for customer-facing interfaces: define and maintain interface metrics, measure design system adoption, run large-scale A/B tests, optimize localization, partner with Product/Design/Engineering, and enable data-driven decision making across teams.

Own the technical relationship with complex hardware OEM partners. Lead device-level escalations, define technical strategy, align cross-functional teams, improve tooling and automation, and enhance payment experiences on partner devices. Mentor engineers and help develop a scalable hardware partner engineering model. The role requires extensive customer-facing technical expertise, embedded or systems engineering experience, strong communication, strategic judgment, and travel to OEM locations.

Performs second-line compliance quality assurance testing across onboarding, AML, monitoring, and termination risks. Identifies control gaps, supports remediation, develops reporting, delivers training, and enhances compliance oversight methodology. Partners with risk, legal, finance, sales, and other stakeholders to strengthen controls, execute governance initiatives, and provide practical regulatory guidance.

Leads legal technology strategy and implementations across CLM, e-signature, CRM, intake, knowledge management, workflow automation, AI, and analytics systems. Builds self-service legal portals, automates workflows, deploys AI tools, creates KPI dashboards, manages vendors, and drives global change adoption, data governance, and cross-functional enablement.

Lead Adyen’s global Scheme Compliance Governance team, overseeing governance frameworks, audits, assessments, control mapping and testing, remediation, scheme communications, bulletins, RFIs, and committee and board reporting. Manage a globally distributed team and coordinate with scheme Risk and Compliance counterparts, Internal Audit, Internal Controls, and operational stakeholders. Ensure payment requirements translate into accountable ownership, effective controls, timely remediation, and transparent management oversight.

Own the end-to-end experience for Adyen’s developer platform, from research and strategy through detailed design and delivery. Design API documentation, sandboxes, SDKs, webhooks, dashboards, and AI-assisted integration workflows. Partner with product, engineering, analytics, and API architects to simplify technical journeys, improve integration velocity, and establish intuitive developer mental models. Conduct research with technical users, define prototypes and specifications, measure adoption, and mentor designers.

Leads an engineering team building Adyen’s issuing and banking products. Responsibilities include defining the technical roadmap, hiring and developing a new team, providing technical authority, managing execution and technical debt, partnering with product and commercial stakeholders, and shaping customer-focused financial product capabilities at scale.
