As a Morning News Anchor, you will lead weekday morning newscasts, engage with the audience through various platforms, collaborate with the news team, and represent 9NEWS with integrity and passion for local journalism.

Lead and mentor newsroom producers, manage daily editorial and on-air execution, approve scripts, coordinate breaking and enterprise coverage, recruit journalists, ensure content meets brand, policy and FCC standards, and direct newsroom operations and scheduling.

Manage and grow Locked On college sports podcast feeds across the SEC, Big Ten, and Big 12. Monitor and critique daily episodes, coach and develop hosts, onboard new talent, track channel performance, and collaborate with content, sales, and operations to improve show quality and audience growth.

Support Account Executives with post-sale campaign fulfillment, implementation, maintenance, and client communication across broadcast and digital channels. Track audience delivery and KPIs, assist with contracts, orders, make-goods, and reporting. Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, research, creative) to meet client needs, identify upsell opportunities, and ensure campaign success.

Lead category management for indirect spend (Marketing, Legal, Facilities, IT, Telecom), develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships and contracts, drive cost-reduction initiatives, maintain spend databases and sourcing reports, and support cross-functional procurement projects.
