Morning News Anchor responsible for shaping newscast content, reporting and presenting breaking and enterprise news, developing community contacts, interviewing sources, and creating stories for television, web, mobile, and social platforms. Executes and monitors email, push notification, in-app, and automated CRM campaigns in Braze. Builds customer journeys, segments audiences, configures personalization, performs campaign QA, manages scheduling, and reports on engagement KPIs. Monitors data interfaces between Braze and platforms including Amplitude and Snowflake, identifies discrepancies, and coordinates issue resolution.

Supports and maintains broadcast and business IT systems, including servers, networks, workstations, software, security, storage, and broadcast technologies. Tracks audience delivery, ratings, impressions, KPIs, and fulfillment while identifying incremental revenue opportunities. Collaborates with sales, marketing, research, and creative teams to retain and grow client accounts.

The Story Desk Editor leads newsroom coverage, especially during breaking news, and plans, curates, writes, and edits stories across digital, streaming, social, and broadcast platforms. The role coordinates with reporters, producers, and photojournalists; ensures accuracy, fairness, AP style, and ethical standards; uses audience metrics to improve reach; and supports daily newsroom logistics and coverage planning.

Designs, builds, and operates C#/.NET microservices on Azure Functions for TEGNA’s content management platform. Owns event-driven architecture using Azure Service Bus, including reliability, idempotency, retries, and observability. Leads technical design, establishes engineering standards, modernizes legacy systems, mentors developers, and converts epics into actionable stories. Partners with architecture and cloud teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
