Design, develop, and validate precision mechanical components and assemblies for HDD products. Perform CAD design, GD&T, FEA and modal analysis, tolerance stack-ups, prototyping, environmental testing, FMEA, and cross-functional integration with suppliers and firmware/servo teams to meet performance and reliability targets.

Support photo-area manufacturing equipment: diagnose failures, optimize tools, lead corrective actions, train maintenance and technicians, establish procedures, collaborate with process and electrical engineering, manage PMs and vendor escalations, and ensure safety and QA compliance.

PhD intern will support Hardware Development Engineering by sustaining non-critical process layers, troubleshooting excursions, assigning layer ownership, assisting photo process development for new layers/products, supporting mask management tasks, and helping manufacturing engineers execute project work on a project-by-project basis.

Provide electronics and firmware support across design, manufacturing, and customer teams for HDD products: debug hardware/firmware issues, collaborate with firmware and HW teams, develop manufacturing/customer failure-trend tools, and maintain system-level test/debug tools and processes.

Provide securities and corporate finance legal support to treasury and finance, including negotiating debt and equity financings, preparing and reviewing SEC and proxy filings, advising on corporate governance and compliance, managing subsidiary and entity restructurings, and overseeing outside counsel. Support Sarbanes-Oxley, Nasdaq and other public-company compliance and collaborate with tax, treasury, investor relations and finance teams.

Lead customer-facing storage architecture engagements, translate customer deployment challenges into product and firmware requirements, run design reviews and performance validation, and produce technical documentation to accelerate customer integration and inform product roadmaps.
