Build and operate backend services, APIs, data models, event-driven pipelines, internal applications, and integrations supporting high-volume grading operations. Mentor engineers, coordinate stakeholders, establish engineering standards, and lead responsible adoption of AI-assisted development across the organization.

Lead and mentor the software engineering team responsible for PSA Set Registry, a large-scale consumer web and mobile product. Drive architecture, development, delivery, code quality, release management, production troubleshooting, and technical strategy. Partner with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions while promoting agile practices, collaboration, continuous learning, and an inclusive engineering culture.

Design and build scalable backend architecture for PSA Set Registry, including cloud-based services, APIs, databases, microservices, event-driven systems, and batch processing. Own features through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support. Collaborate with product and engineering teams, troubleshoot complex systems, improve applications and data models, contribute technical designs and documentation, and apply security and monitoring best practices.

Provide customer support for PSA by investigating and resolving issues, processing account adjustments, updating order spreadsheets, communicating solutions, and escalating unresolved concerns. The role requires strong problem-solving, empathy, communication, organization, and customer de-escalation skills. It is full-time onsite in Santa Ana, California, Monday through Friday, 2:30pm to 11pm, and may involve phone, computer, and material-handling duties.

Lead cross-functional operational projects from planning through implementation for Beckett. Partner with the Director of Operations to define requirements, build project plans, track milestones, analyze operations, develop dashboards and staffing models, improve processes, implement systems, and drive adoption. Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and facilitate cross-department collaboration to ensure successful execution of high-priority initiatives.

Lead architecture and delivery for Beckett’s software modernization, including NestJS and TypeScript microservices, Java and PHP legacy migrations, full-stack platforms, databases, AWS infrastructure, and distributed systems. Establish engineering standards for security, testing, observability, and operations. Mentor engineers, coordinate multi-quarter projects, manage cross-system risks, and guide responsible adoption of AI coding tools and LLM technologies.

Support the in-house Legal team across contract intake and workflows, compliance and privacy operations, IP docketing, corporate entity management, legal mailboxes, and cross-functional initiatives. Maintain repositories, track deadlines, coordinate counsel and stakeholders, and route inbound matters. Use AI-powered legal tools to improve workflows and maintain the team’s AI skill library.
