Summer interns will contribute to software, data engineering, AI/ML, cybersecurity, laboratory knowledge, and visualization projects. Responsibilities may include building data pipelines and ML solutions, developing software in C# or C++, preparing datasets with Python and SQL, connecting laboratory data systems, and supporting cybersecurity monitoring and incident response. Interns will gain industry experience through mentorship, coaching, collaboration, and real-world project work.

Leads the global strategy, governance, lifecycle, and performance of enterprise manufacturing applications across 16+ sites. Leads commercial analytics and sales enablement initiatives for Alcon’s Americas Commercial organization. Partners with leadership, sales operations, analytics, and technology teams to translate business requirements into actionable insights. Monitors adoption and business impact, drives continuous improvement, and communicates recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Supply chain and logistics interns will analyze transportation and carrier data, build dashboards and KPI reports, support demand and supply planning, assist with inventory and master-data governance, and contribute to warehouse modernization, network optimization, procurement, and carrier-management projects. Interns may also automate planning workflows and apply analytics, AI, or machine learning to improve supply chain efficiency.

Executes and improves Accounts Payable processes through analytics, automation, AI-enabled solutions, and strong internal controls. Resolves invoice, payment, expense, vendor, and employee issues; analyzes transactional data; supports audits; improves workflows; and promotes sustainable solutions. Provides team oversight, ensures accurate and timely reconciliations and payments, manages escalations, supports governance, and partners with Finance, Procurement, IT, Tax, and automation teams.

Prepare and review quarterly and annual consolidated income tax provisions, including effective tax rate, uncertain tax positions, cash tax forecasts, and global tax reporting. Support IFRS-to-GAAP adjustments, GLOBE analysis, U.S. tax return preparation, transfer pricing calculations, and tax technology maintenance. Collaborate with global tax, finance, and reporting teams to resolve tax-related questions and ensure accurate compliance documentation.

Electrical and computer engineering interns will support projects involving laboratory equipment, embedded software and firmware, electronic system debugging, manufacturing automation, machine vision, and robotics. Interns will collaborate with Alcon professionals, build technical skills, receive mentoring, and contribute to real-world medical technology projects during a full-time summer internship.

Manages equipment financing and commercial contracts supporting surgical sales and finance teams. Responsibilities include negotiating and administering financing, rebate, and discount agreements; ensuring pricing accuracy and compliance; setting up contracts for payment and monitoring; analyzing portfolio performance; recommending remediation and process improvements; and advising stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and IT.

Leads automation engineering and capital projects in a medical-device manufacturing facility. Designs and implements PLC, SCADA, MES, robotics, vision inspection, packaging, and material-handling systems. Manages equipment vendors, installation, validation, compliance, troubleshooting, process improvements, CAPA implementations, and equipment modifications. Partners with production teams to improve throughput, quality, safety, flexibility, and reliability while supporting automation technicians.
