Lead site engineering for Grand Rapids, overseeing Design-to-Order and Sustaining Engineering. Manage and develop engineering managers and teams, drive product lifecycle activities (design changes, validation, release, documentation), prioritize work, and partner with Product, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Service to ensure manufacturability, reliability, cost, and customer requirements are met. Champion engineering rigor, continuous improvement, and cross-functional alignment to support site performance and long-term capability building.

Develop and optimize Qt/C++ embedded HMI applications and Python backend/test tools; build and maintain custom Yocto Linux distributions; configure kernel/device trees and CI/CD pipelines; integrate industrial protocols (Modbus, CANbus, MQTT); lead embedded cybersecurity activities (vulnerability management, threat modeling, hardening); mentor engineers and drive HMI architecture and delivery.
