Design and emulate network architectures, apply SDN/SD-WAN and carrier-grade protocols, deploy virtualized network images, ensure cybersecurity controls and DISA STIG compliance, engage stakeholders, and influence industry standards and consortiums.

Support and administer enterprise classified Red Hat Linux systems and HPE HPC clusters for the DARC program. Tasks include provisioning, integration, patching, user/account management, diagnostics, performance and reliability improvements, and collaboration with cybersecurity, software, hardware, and systems engineering teams. Lead technical development for a deep-space ground radar weapon system, overseeing design, integration, testing, verification, and delivery. Manage cross-functional engineering teams, drive engineering processes, risk mitigation, IMS integration, and support program management to meet milestones and ensure technical quality and performance.

Perform system safety analyses for military weapon systems applying MIL-STD-882E and related standards. Develop safety artifacts (SSPP, PHA, FHA, SHA, FTA, SAR, software safety), document hazards in HTS, support risk assessments, mishap investigations, and collaborate across engineering teams to integrate safety into missile weapon system design. On-site in Northridge, CA; requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Lead system safety engineering for the Sentinel program: analyze and mitigate hazards, define safety requirements and functional specifications, produce safety documents and reports, perform operational audits, and support flight test/flight-worthiness. Apply MIL-STD-882E, DO-178/DO-254, and software development practices to influence design and ensure system safety compliance.
