Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software and firmware for mission systems. Work across the full SDLC, integrate with target hardware, apply OOP in C++, use scripting for automation, and collaborate within Agile/DevSecOps and model-based engineering environments to deliver secure, multi-threaded, embedded solutions.

Design, develop, prototype, and test digital hardware and FPGA-based subsystems across full product lifecycle. Translate system specifications into hardware requirements, perform simulation, schematic capture, debug complex circuit cards, and support production and field operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams on EW, RF/EO DSP, and high-speed interfaces.

Lead program cost and schedule control activities using Earned Value Management. Maintain WBS, perform variance and EAC analysis, support monthly forecasting and government reporting, interface with program managers and CAMs, and mentor/train junior analysts while ensuring cost/schedule integration and compliance with DoD reporting requirements.

Develop, integrate, test and analyze complex virtual system and environment models. Write simulation code and scripts, design system models, document assumptions, automate tests, and execute integration tests in virtual environments or System Integration Labs. Perform mission-level operational analysis and apply EOIR, optics, RF, detection, and tracking expertise while working in integrated product teams.

Lead design, deployment, and management of classified lab and test infrastructure. Integrate avionics into HITL/HIL and simulation environments, administer virtualization and host systems, implement secure networking (STIG/SCAP), develop automation and tooling, document test procedures, and support cross-functional integration and troubleshooting. On-site at Beale AFB with ~25% travel and possible shift/weekend work.

Lead and manage a division export/import compliance program, ensuring adherence to ITAR/EAR. Supervise global trade staff, act as Lead Empowered Official, perform classification and jurisdiction assessments, maintain compliance records and metrics, and advise senior stakeholders on sensitive export/import matters.

Design, verify, simulate and test FPGA and digital designs. Develop and validate firmware, create test plans, run lab instrumentation, perform static timing and signal integrity analysis, support systems integration and on-site testing, and produce engineering change orders.

Lead Windows systems administration for classified government contracts, architecting and operating Windows domain environments, Active Directory, GPOs, VMware and SAN storage. Provide technical leadership, vendor engagement, security-compliant backup/recovery, testing, automation, and mentoring. Ensure adherence to RMF/STIG/NISPOM frameworks, support assessments and A&A, and perform travel and on-site classified work.
