Build and analyze sophisticated insurance, investment, asset-liability, and derivatives models. Quantify equity, interest-rate, credit, liquidity, cash-flow, and alternative-investment risks; analyze market data and portfolio statistics; and simulate financial reporting processes. Oversees team objectives, performance management, billing exceptions, payment discrepancies, escalations, and partnerships with BPO providers, brokers, customers, and internal stakeholders. Uses operational reporting to monitor performance, guide decisions, and implement process improvements while ensuring compliance with company standards.

Support second-line operational risk for the Investment Office by identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting key risks. Participate in RCSAs, control testing, process reviews, action plan monitoring, root cause analysis, and GRC tool maintenance. Collaborate with risk peers, line management, compliance, IT, and Internal Audit to improve controls and risk metrics.

Supports the Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls program, including control design and evaluation, risk assessment, process mapping, control testing, remediation tracking, deficiency reporting, and audit coordination. Partners with management, process owners, risk personnel, and external auditors to assess control effectiveness, resolve findings, and maintain compliance with regulatory and corporate standards across global business units.

Assists with the Aegon Americas SOX program, including internal control design, financial process documentation, risk assessment, scoping, control testing, remediation tracking, deficiency resolution, and audit coordination. Partners with business process owners, risk management, internal teams, and external auditors to assess control effectiveness, support regulatory compliance, and maintain a sustainable internal control framework across global country units.

Responsible for driving annuity product distribution across a defined territory. Develops and maintains adviser relationships through in-person sales meetings, expands the prospect base, provides product and business-building guidance, partners with an internal wholesaler, allocates company resources, attends sales conferences and training, and ensures compliance with company policies. The role requires extensive travel throughout Southern Indiana and Kentucky.
