Job Description Summary

Lead finance transformation initiatives that standardize and automate accounting processes. Apply finance, project management, and systems expertise to deliver Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub solutions and improve the accuracy, efficiency, and control of financial data and reporting.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead smaller-scale finance transformation projects, develop plans, manage timelines, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Translate finance and controllership requirements into Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub and Subledger Accounting designs and configuration.
  • Analyze source transactions and support accounting rules, mappings, segment derivation, balancing, intercompany, and suspense logic.
  • Partner with finance, technology, data, reporting, and controls teams on interfaces, data validation, error handling, and process improvements.
  • Prepare functional specifications, configuration documentation, process flows, test scenarios, and accounting rule documentation.
  • Support system integration, user acceptance, and regression testing; triage defects and validate accounting results.
  • Reconcile results across source systems, Accounting Hub, General Ledger, and downstream reporting, and support deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Identify and escalate design risks, configuration gaps, defects, and dependencies; provide guidance to junior analysts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Five years of experience in financial technology change management projects, with a focus on finance, financial systems, and business analysis
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and consultation skills
  • Proficient overseeing projects and managing timelines
  • Decision making and organizational skills to implement projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub (FAH), Subledger Accounting, or Oracle Cloud Financials.
  • Experience supporting finance transformation, ERP, or accounting systems implementations.
  • Experience supporting multi-ledger, multi-currency, multi-entity, or multi-GAAP environments.
  • Knowledge of accounting processes, reconciliations, and financial controls.
  • Insurance or financial services industry experience preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid Working Environment (3 days per week)

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $80,000.00- $105,000.00 annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
