Leads new product development and product phase-out projects for medium-voltage switchgear across the Americas. Manages requirements, specifications, prototypes, manufacturing readiness, schedules, budgets, lifecycle data, stakeholder coordination, commercialization, and executive reporting. Partners with product management, engineering, operations, sales, finance, marketing, and supply chain to deliver products on time and within budget.

Owns the global medium-voltage switchgear product lifecycle, including roadmap development, new product introduction, CPQ configuration, pricing, supply enablement, and phaseout. Evaluates customer needs, markets, regulations, competitors, and make-versus-buy opportunities. Leads cross-functional technical requirements, design improvements, channel enablement, customer and partner engagement, marketing support, and growth initiatives across data center, cloud, colocation, communications, and AI applications.

Supports data mining, predictive analytics, and health score development using telemetry, service history, and environmental data. Collaborates with engineers and cross-functional teams on analysis, software requirements, testing, tool development, and product support. The intern contributes to predictive platform projects, plans and completes project work, and receives mentorship while applying academic knowledge to engineering challenges.

Supports cross-functional business analytics by analyzing processes, developing dashboards and reports, improving pipeline management, creating AI agents for task automation, and building resource planning models. The role helps drive service delivery efficiency, business process improvement, and informed operational decisions while collaborating with internal and remote teams.

Supports ERS Marketing across customer engagement, market and competitive research, content development, digital marketing, SEO, social media, sales enablement, dashboards, and virtual and industry event execution. The intern analyzes customer data and markets, develops case studies, articles, blogs, podcasts, and social content, supports Google Ads and email campaigns, and collaborates with sales, operations, legal, and EH&S teams.

Supports sustaining engineering activities, including evaluating alternative components, inspecting and recertifying harvested parts, tracking obsolete and replacement inventory, creating kits and BOMs, initiating change orders, preparing drawings and technical documentation, assisting with testing, and maintaining engineering databases. Collaborates with supply chain, quality, and field service teams while gaining hands-on experience in product support and obsolescence management.

Supports the Regional Power Management team through market research, product performance and customer feedback analysis, product documentation, roadmap and user story maintenance, and project timeline tracking. The intern collaborates with product managers, develops product management skills, and learns methodologies related to product development and market strategy.

Support Innovation Lab engineering initiatives involving power and thermal management, laboratory testing, and AI-enabled workflow improvements. Develop and maintain a custom AI knowledge assistant for technical documentation, procedures, standards, troubleshooting, and data analysis. Improve assistant performance through prompt engineering, retrieval optimization, and user feedback analysis while collaborating with engineers and lab personnel.

Supports the Sales team by reviewing performance against targets, observing and executing sales processes, researching market and competitor trends, preparing presentations and proposals, and participating in sales meetings and training. The intern should be pursuing a relevant degree and demonstrate strong communication, analytical, collaboration, problem-solving, work ethic, and willingness to learn.

Supports Innovation Lab engineers with power and thermal management testing, laboratory workflows, and engineering operations. Develops and maintains an AI knowledge assistant for technical documentation, test procedures, standards, troubleshooting, and data analysis. Improves assistant performance through prompt engineering, retrieval optimization, and user feedback analysis while applying engineering fundamentals, systems thinking, and first-principles reasoning.
