Support Vertiv’s Global Consulting Services organization by assessing consulting engagements, documenting methodologies, identifying best practices and process gaps, benchmarking delivery practices, and recommending improvements. The intern will create a sustainable Global Consulting Services Playbook containing frameworks, lessons learned, adoption recommendations, governance guidance, and a continuous improvement roadmap. Additional duties include analyzing operational data, preparing executive presentations, supporting strategic initiatives, and contributing to consulting assets and knowledge management.

Leads critical infrastructure and data center projects from pre-sales through commissioning. Coordinates order management, production, logistics, contractors, field services, warranty, and customer stakeholders. Manages project scope, resources, schedules, budgets, quality, margins, reporting, issue escalation, meetings, and safety initiatives. Uses Oracle, Smartsheet, and Power BI to track execution and performance. Periodic jobsite visits are required, along with variable schedules.

Supports instructional designers in creating and maintaining e-learning courses, learning journeys, videos, assessments, job aids, and other digital learning content. The intern drafts storyboards and scripts, works with subject matter experts, updates Rise 360 and Storyline content, reviews quality and accessibility, assists with testing and deployment, supports localization readiness, maintains documentation, and contributes to learning-team improvement initiatives.

Electrical Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience in power solutions and distribution engineering while supporting projects, research, testing, and product or system development. The role involves collaborating with experienced engineers and cross-functional stakeholders, managing time and resources, planning project activities, and applying classroom knowledge to real-world engineering challenges in laboratory and manufacturing environments.

Negotiate, draft, finalize, and manage complex commercial and sales agreements. Advise business development and leadership teams on market expansion, go-to-market strategies, compliance, and commercial risk. Support corporate matters and improve contracting efficiency through CLM platforms and AI-enabled legal tools. Collaborate with sales, finance, operations, manufacturing, engineering, customers, and other stakeholders.

Leads Vertiv’s global Governance, Risk, and Compliance function, including enterprise IT risk management, third-party risk, SOX and ITGC compliance, security audits, vulnerability governance, awareness training, customer security questionnaires, and Trust Center operations. Manages a globally dispersed team and chairs the Cyber Risk Oversight Committee while communicating security risks to executives and international stakeholders. The role requires expertise in NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, risk quantification, GRC platforms, and global program execution, with international travel.

Supports technical sales through developing sales tools, maintaining product knowledge bases and enablement materials, researching markets and competitors, participating in training and cross-functional meetings, and preparing customer presentations, proposals, and documentation. The intern collaborates with engineering, sales, and offering teams while gaining experience connecting technical solutions with customer needs and business growth.

Lead pre-sales engineered-to-order engineering for low-voltage switchboards, switchgear, and power distribution equipment. Coordinate electrical and mechanical design, manufacturing, sourcing, operations, and project management teams. Review customer specifications, one-line diagrams, BOMs, protection schemes, and compliance requirements. Support proposals, technical submittals, risk assessments, customer meetings, project handoffs, and continuous improvement. Ensure alignment with UL 891, UL 1558, NEC, manufacturability, sourcing, and execution-readiness requirements while mentoring technical resources.

Provides reactive and proactive sales support for assigned channel accounts. Responsibilities include closing opportunities, qualifying leads, coordinating campaigns, supporting outside sales, meeting quotas, answering customer inquiries, communicating product benefits, providing quotes, managing CRM opportunities, and coordinating inventory and delivery information. The role also delivers basic technical guidance, supports partner programs, and participates in sales events and trade shows.

Supports engineered-to-order electrical and mechanical design for low-voltage power distribution equipment during quotation and proposal phases. Reviews customer specifications, one-line diagrams, protection schemes, component selections, layouts, BOMs, and compliance requirements. Coordinates with sales, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, operations, and project management; supports technical reviews, risk identification, standardization, KPIs, continuous improvement, customer clarification, and project handoffs. Provides technical mentoring and helps ensure solutions are compliant, manufacturable, cost-effective, and aligned with proposal timelines.
