Responsibilities include supplier selection and analysis, cost reduction, contract and purchase order management, negotiations, make-versus-buy decisions, market benchmarking, supplier performance improvement, and supply continuity. The role manages multimillion-dollar contracts, cross-functional stakeholders, sourcing events, procurement metrics, and new product introduction activities while supporting quality, delivery, cost, and risk objectives.

Leads FP&A for SpaceX product lines, managing resource planning, spending, contract profitability, KPIs, financial reporting, variance analysis, capital expenditures, cash forecasts, and operational decision support. Partners with production, engineering, supply chain, accounting, sales, program management, and executives to improve financial performance and track obligations during rapid growth.

Own the health, uptime, performance, monitoring, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases. Automate administration using Python or Bash, optimize SQL queries, troubleshoot infrastructure and data issues, support developers, document systems and runbooks, and provide database architecture expertise. The role includes testing, cross-team collaboration, coaching other database staff, self-service solutions, and participation in an on-call rotation.
