Own services strategy and quota-bearing services sales for enterprise Financial Services accounts. Own the technical vision and architecture for Workday’s distributed tracing observability platform. Design and build multi-petabyte ingestion, storage, and query infrastructure using ClickHouse, Tempo, Kafka, Spark or Flink, Iceberg, S3, and AWS. Lead scalability, performance, high availability, disaster recovery, security, and operational excellence. Partner with AI stakeholders on anomaly detection and root-cause analysis, while mentoring engineers, setting cross-team technical direction, and serving as the tracing platform’s primary architect and escalation point.

Design, build, and operate distributed tracing platform components at multi-petabyte scale. Optimize ingestion, storage, querying, availability, and fault tolerance across ClickHouse, Grafana Tempo, Kafka, Spark/Flink, Iceberg, and S3. Develop scalable observability APIs, testing and CI/CD automation, security controls, and high-availability strategies. Mentor engineers, lead technical design, contribute to architecture discussions, and document systems, runbooks, and APIs.

Own the observability product vision and roadmap, emphasizing distributed tracing and AI-powered anomaly detection and incident triage. Partner with engineering, ML, design, and stakeholders to define requirements, evaluate architectures, ship technical products, and measure outcomes such as MTTD, MTTR, alert noise, and trace coverage. Lead capabilities including trace analysis, model evaluation, root-cause summarization, explainability, and remediation recommendations for large-scale cloud-native systems.

Serves as Chief of Staff and strategic advisor to the VP of HCM and Workforce Management Engineering. Leads strategic initiatives, operational excellence, change management, annual planning, metrics and business reviews, executive communications, recognition and professional development programs, headcount planning, budgeting, and organizational changes. Coordinates cross-functional alignment, manages strategic programs, supports organizational cadences, and drives data-informed improvements across engineering teams.
