Provides underwriting support, legal counsel, and authorization for commercial real estate title insurance commitments and policies. Applies underwriting standards within delegated authority, advises on real estate settlement services, and develops underwriting guidelines. Requires strong real estate law knowledge, analytical judgment, negotiation, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Oversee multiple medium- to large-scale projects from planning through delivery. Create project plans, schedules, budgets, risk and contingency plans, status reports, and other documentation. Leads engineering strategy, architecture, delivery, and operations for an AI-powered title automation platform. Owns document intelligence, data lakes, event-driven pipelines, canonical data models, ML governance, platform modernization, reliability, cost discipline, and responsible AI practices. Partners with Product, Data Science, Title Operations, Security, and Governance while leading distributed teams through engineering managers. Oversees roadmaps, investment decisions, talent development, operational excellence, and measurable business outcomes.

Provide technical leadership across engineering teams by defining architecture, building reusable cloud-native platforms, and designing distributed systems and production AI applications. Establish engineering standards for reliability, security, observability, governance, and operational excellence. Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders, influence architecture through collaboration, and drive modernization, AI-assisted development, and platform engineering initiatives.

Lead distributed engineering teams building and operating cloud-native, AI-powered software systems. Responsibilities include hiring, coaching, performance management, delivery planning, technical decision-making, cross-functional partnership, AI-assisted development adoption, operational excellence, metrics, incident reviews, and continuous improvement. The manager will establish scalable engineering processes, guide architecture, improve reliability and productivity, and ensure secure, observable, resilient, and maintainable software delivery.

Build and deploy production LLM-powered features and autonomous agent systems from prototype through monitoring and iteration. Develop scalable backend services and APIs, orchestration layers, memory systems, guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and inference infrastructure. Drive reliability, security, observability, cost efficiency, and performance for AI systems. Collaborate with product and technical teams, mentor engineers, and establish modern AI-assisted development practices.

Lead software engineering teams and define technical strategy, architecture, delivery processes, and innovation initiatives. Partner with Product, Design, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable enterprise software. Oversee the software development lifecycle, improve Agile and DevOps practices, manage distributed teams, recruit and retain talent, and ensure projects meet business, quality, budget, and timeline objectives.

Perform and review commercial title searches, analyze records (liens, easements, judgments), price commitments and endorsements, review deeds and corporate documents, select appropriate policy write-ups, coordinate title resolution, and occasionally consult attorneys to complete commercial title transactions.

Manages relationships with assigned clients, resolves routine and complex service issues, analyzes trends, recommends process and product improvements, and provides technical support. Installs software and equipment, delivers customized training and demonstrations, coordinates customer issue resolution, supports offshore service operations, and may assist with sales enhancements, customer setup, pricing, contracts, and trade shows. Requires strong communication, independent judgment, and knowledge of mortgage or insurance operations.
