Administer EDA design environments and deploy tools supporting layout, verification, and semiconductor technology development. Develop Python, Shell, TCL, Perl, and other automation scripts; manage GitHub workflows, CI/CD, software deployments, engineering databases, libraries, and access controls. Troubleshoot EDA tools, DRC/LVS flows, infrastructure, and user issues. Design, develop, validate, and deploy mathematical models, optimization algorithms, and simulation tools to solve semiconductor manufacturing and supply chain problems. Collaborate with business units to define requirements, identify root causes, and implement solutions for factory performance, production scheduling, equipment optimization, and distribution network operations.

Leads foundry technology development, yield and performance strategy, product integration, NPI execution, PDK governance, and semiconductor process roadmaps. Provides executive technical leadership for major customers, resolves critical technical blockers, oversees DOE and predictive modeling, and coordinates device engineering, process integration, assembly, test, and manufacturing teams through HVM ramp. Requires deep semiconductor yield, performance, foundry collaboration, and executive customer-management expertise.

Develops and sustains photolithography mask manufacturing processes and equipment for leading-edge semiconductor production. Responsibilities include equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, defect analysis, process experimentation, control-system development, and improvements to quality, yield, reliability, cost, productivity, stability, and safety. The engineer collaborates cross-functionally to resolve complex technical issues and communicates technical data to varied audiences.

The role may require day or night on-shift engineering support and cross-functional collaboration with process, integration, and yield teams.
