Develop and maintain Intel’s asynchronous EDA design automation flow for neuromorphic silicon. Build algorithms, tools, utilities, scripts, and regression tests supporting RTL, verification, physical design, simulation, FPGA emulation, synthesis, and implementation. Create scalable frameworks for early software development and optimize custom low-power, high-performance designs. The role requires full ASIC lifecycle knowledge, multiple tape-outs, strong scripting skills, and experience using AI-assisted engineering tools.

Design and optimize analog and mixed-signal circuits and foundational IP, including ADCs, DACs, voltage regulators, and high-speed I/O. Responsibilities include circuit simulation, floorplanning, verification, tape-out, test planning, post-silicon debugging, and collaboration with architecture, layout, process technology, IP, and product teams.

Develop and execute pre-silicon validation plans for Intel CPU cores using simulation, emulation, and FPGA. Create test content, apply coverage-driven techniques, debug failures, collaborate with architecture/design teams, and support silicon readiness through validation tooling and automation.

Lead DFT/DFX strategy for Intel’s neuromorphic silicon program, architecting SoC-level test solutions across synchronous and asynchronous designs. Develop scan insertion, compression, ATPG, test-vector, emulation, and validation flows; collaborate on DFT, DFD, and DFM features for high-volume manufacturing. Lead silicon power-on, tester-content enablement, failure debugging, and reliability improvements while maintaining development tools and flows.

Develop pre-silicon verification methodologies for neuromorphic SoC and ASIC architectures across software, RTL, and emulation platforms. Create Python-based directed and random tests, map application requirements to test plans, run regressions, debug failures, track coverage, maintain assertions and scoreboards, and integrate verification IPs. Collaborate with architecture, design, software, and IP teams to validate protocols and improve first-pass silicon success.

Lead applied AI research from literature review and foundational research through proof-of-concept development and production deployment. Design and evaluate machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, NLP, computer vision, and prediction models for business-critical challenges. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, strategic direction, and cross-functional collaboration while driving innovation and translating research into measurable business impact.

As a Middleware Development Engineer, you will optimize software communication libraries for HPC and AI, identify performance issues, and collaborate with teams to enhance capabilities in scientific computing.

Performs pre-silicon functional verification of GPU graphics, media, and display logic. Develops reusable verification plans, testbenches, simulation models, and coverage infrastructure; executes tests, analyzes power and timing, debugs failures, identifies root causes, and implements corrective measures. Collaborates with GPU architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to verify complex features against functional, performance, and power goals.

Implements custom CPU physical designs from RTL through GDS, including synthesis, floorplanning, placement, routing, clock-tree synthesis, timing closure, power analysis, reliability checks, and signoff verification. Collaborates with architecture, logic, circuit, automation teams, and EDA vendors to optimize CPU power, performance, and area. Develops physical-design methodologies and automation flows while analyzing results to improve future microarchitectures.

Lead EMIB-T substrate technology development and qualification, driving supplier readiness, technical enablement, and milestone execution. Collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, and assembly partners in high-volume manufacturing environments. Apply advanced packaging knowledge, process flow development, FMEA, DOE, characterization methods, and statistical process control to improve yield and deliver qualified solutions.
