Manages all HR functions for an industrial site, including employee relations, workforce planning, recruiting, training, compensation, benefits, compliance, safety-related HR activities, and change management. Leads the HR team, develops and deploys site HR strategy, advises managers, oversees policies and labor relations, manages HR data and budgets, and represents the company with external stakeholders and campus partners.

Manage supplier quality for automotive components at a Valeo production site. Responsibilities include identifying and containing nonconformities, initiating and tracking supplier incidents, ensuring component conformity and yearly sample approvals, managing PQA status, coordinating PDCA closure, participating in QRQC meetings, monitoring supplier responsiveness, and tracking quality-related chargebacks. The role requires an engineering degree and at least three years of automotive OEM or supplier quality experience.

Designs and validates automated test equipment, PLC-based systems, tester hardware and software for automotive manufacturing. Develops testing strategies, specifications, programs, and process systems; analyzes failures and coverage; supports equipment integration, FMEA, production transitions, standards validation, and continuous improvement. Collaborates with R&D, software validation, manufacturing, and technicians while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Leads discipline design execution for automotive projects, managing budget, quality, cost, delivery, technical reviews, corrective actions, validation issue resolution, and efficiency plans. The role coordinates with engineering leaders, technical project leaders, customers, suppliers, and other disciplines while mentoring designers and driving design reuse, technical quality, and continuous improvement.

Supports product marketing through cost calculations, pricing analysis, product master data maintenance, new product setup, lifecycle updates, Excel-based reporting, competitive analysis, and data quality improvements. Collaborates with Product, Sales, Purchasing, and Catalog teams to support product positioning, customer engagement, and market performance in the automotive industry.

Develop and deploy robotic manipulation applications for grasping, assembly, and precision insertion. Build visual perception, pose estimation, motion planning, and closed-loop vision/force-feedback control systems using ROS/ROS2 and MoveIt. Deploy and commission robots on production lines, troubleshoot integrations, optimize performance, document systems, and train personnel. Validate learning-based manipulation methods, including VLA, imitation learning, and reinforcement learning.

Lead Valeo’s humanoid robotics training center by identifying industrial use cases, defining technical specifications and KPIs, fine-tuning VLA systems, optimizing simulation-to-reality workflows, and training robots for supply-chain and dexterity tasks. Coordinate trainees, PhDs, suppliers, plant proof-of-concept workshops, technology evaluations, safety and cybersecurity frameworks, engineering training, and global deployment preparations. Recommend future humanoid-compatible asset designs and coordinate digitalization activities across Valeo divisions and plants.

Supports project managers with scheduling, PMO practices, project planning, resource coordination, milestone tracking, customer communication, schedule reviews, reporting, and issue escalation. The role helps deploy scheduling standards, coach project team members, validate activity timing, resolve planning gaps, and ensure project objectives and targets are achieved.

Manage project quality activities for automotive programs, including APQP deliverables, quality costs, customer milestones, risk prevention, FMEA and control-plan updates, supplier quality support, initial sample submissions, and QRQC problem solving. Ensure customer-specific requirements, design and process changes, critical characteristics, and validation activities meet Valeo and OEM quality standards through project launch.

Supports active safety and driver assistance vehicle testing, validation, requirements review, test case creation, log and trace analysis, sensor and ECU integration, calibration setup, and technical documentation. Collaborates with application, systems, mechanical, and global engineering teams. The role is year-round and suited to current engineering or computer science students and recent graduates working across Auburn Hills and Troy, Michigan.
