Lead cross-functional automotive stamping programs from product development through launch and production. Responsibilities include developing program plans, managing milestones, budgets, tooling, equipment suppliers, risks, customer expectations, and stakeholder communications. Partner with engineering, production, quality, purchasing, finance, and suppliers to achieve timing, quality, cost, and business objectives. Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer requirements, audit standards, APQP, FMEA, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.

Supervise Controls Engineers and Technologists while supporting production, maintenance, and engineering operations. Lead equipment improvement projects, design and install PLC-based control systems, commission electrical and functional test equipment, maintain HMI and SCADA systems, troubleshoot PLCs and industrial networks, support robotics, safety systems, and vision systems, and ensure technical documentation, training, performance reviews, and project startup activities are completed effectively.

Manages international tax planning, cross-border transactions, tax compliance, reporting, tax provisions, audits, technical research, and documentation. Supports M&A and restructuring activities, collaborates with global tax, legal, treasury, and finance teams, mentors tax staff, manages external advisors, and improves tax processes using emerging technologies.

Provides administrative HR support across employee records, HR systems, recruiting, staffing, benefits, employee relations, training, onboarding, and orientations. Screens candidates for entry-level manufacturing roles, responds to employee inquiries, coordinates pre-hire requirements, and supports compliance with employment laws including FMLA, FLSA, wage-hour regulations, and HIPAA.

Purchases materials, supplies, and services; solicits and analyzes supplier quotations; develops and manages supplier relationships; resolves delivery, inventory, quality, and cost issues; tracks supplier performance; supports sourcing strategies and continuous improvement; maintains purchasing records and cost databases; and researches market trends and product developments.

Supports purchasing operations for automotive powertrain programs by managing RFQs, analyzing supplier quotes, coordinating make-or-buy decisions, tracking costs, negotiating prices, managing supplier relationships, and reporting supplier launch readiness. The role collaborates with engineering, program management, commodity management, cost engineering, and suppliers to ensure delivery, quality, cost, and PPAP requirements are met. Travel of approximately 10–15% domestically and internationally is required.

Sources and purchases raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies for assigned product groups. Develops and evaluates suppliers, negotiates pricing, maintains vendor relationships, and ensures inventory levels support scheduled production and customer release requirements.

Leads RFQs for production equipment, automation, tooling, and related services; analyzes supplier quotations and total costs; supports sourcing, negotiations, purchase orders, supplier performance, CAPEX projects, contracts, compliance, and cost reduction. Maintains procurement records and KPI reports while coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, project teams, suppliers, and management to resolve commercial and delivery issues.

Develop and optimize automotive assembly manufacturing processes, including equipment specification, line layouts, work instructions, error-proofing, and lean production. Lead program launches, maintenance activities, equipment installations, process improvement, engineering changes, and supplier coordination. Investigate issues using 8D methodology, ensure safety and quality, support customer and vendor activities, and mentor junior manufacturing engineers.

Develop and improve automotive assembly manufacturing processes, including equipment specifications, layouts, work instructions, error-proofing, and lean production methods. Lead new line installations, relocations, maintenance activities, supplier coordination, launches, process audits, and 8D problem solving. Prepare engineering changes, capital expenditure support, customer submissions, and statements of work. Mentor engineers and support safety, quality, throughput, and labor-efficiency improvements.
