Paid 10–12 week newsroom internship (typically ~16 hours/week) offering hands-on shadowing in Assignment Desk, TV news production, Digital content, Photography/Logistics, Sports, or Weather. Duties include research, writing broadcast scripts and digital content, assisting field reporting, producing weather analysis/graphics (weather majors only), and sports research. Applicants must submit a cover letter with department preference, availability, objectives, and work samples (writing, reels).

Own mid-market account sales in an assigned territory: build pipeline, qualify and close new business, coordinate demos and RFPs, manage forecasts in Salesforce, maintain client relationships, and travel for site visits, trade shows, and negotiations.

Lead technical product strategy and execution for programmatic advertising across web, mobile, and CTV. Define roadmaps, translate business needs into technical specs, run A/B tests, troubleshoot integrations (GAM, Prebid, SSPs/DSPs, OpenRTB), ensure privacy compliance, and partner cross-functionally to drive monetization and operational efficiency.

Create, write, edit, and produce original promotional content across broadcast, streaming, and social platforms. Identify promotable stories, develop influencer and long-term campaigns, collaborate with station partners, and support brand-building efforts. Must work flexible hours and report to the Creative Services Director.

Sell advertising across TV and web to local businesses and agencies. Prospect and develop new clients, build and upsell accounts, create sales proposals, form strategic partnerships, and meet individual revenue goals while contributing to the sales team.
