Designs, operates, and improves global IP network infrastructure across datacenter fabrics, WAN routing, and firewall security. Responsibilities include managing VxLAN/EVPN fabrics, Palo Alto firewalls, BGP-based routing, complex network troubleshooting, automation with Python or Ansible, technology evaluations, infrastructure projects, mentoring engineers, on-call support, documentation, and vendor coordination.

Provide technical customer support for voice, API, and 911 products. Own initiatives from concept through production, emphasizing scalability, resiliency, observability, API reliability, and geo-redundant deployments. Collaborate on architecture, cloud infrastructure, telecommunications platforms, testing, and delivery practices. Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation while solving ambiguous technical problems and developing scalable platform capabilities.

Build and operate scalable billing infrastructure for global communications services. Design accurate financial systems, improve billing performance and reliability, collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders, participate in architecture and code reviews, and mentor less experienced engineers. The role requires distributed-systems experience, Java, SQL, cloud familiarity, strong communication, and effective use and review of AI-generated code.
