The Territory Executive generates new business and expands existing customer relationships within an assigned market. Responsibilities include lead generation, prospecting, cold calling, sales presentations, contract renewals, customer retention, cross-selling waste and recycling services, pricing discussions, Salesforce activity tracking, and meeting revenue goals. The role also monitors market trends, participates in community and industry events, and completes customer agreements and related documentation.

Develops and evaluates statistical, machine learning, and AI models for internal business initiatives. Responsibilities include data cleaning, feature preparation, exploratory analysis, prompt engineering, LLM applications, hypothesis testing, time series analysis, validation, deployment support, documentation, and translating results into actionable insights. Collaborates with senior data scientists, analytics engineers, and business stakeholders. This is an in-office role requiring residence in the metro Phoenix area.

Manages the human resources function for assigned divisions, advising employees and managers on performance, conflicts, policies, and employment matters. Oversees staffing, training, compensation, benefits, compliance, employee records, investigations, audits, succession planning, and talent management. Partners with local and corporate leadership, conducts training, supports personnel decisions, and may supervise HR or administrative staff. Travel by air, car, or other transportation may reach 60% of the time.

Prepares federal and state income tax returns, consolidated book-tax differences, audit support, and responses to tax notices. Supports tax research, forecasting, fixed asset accounting, state apportionment, and other corporate tax projects. The role requires corporate tax or public accounting experience and familiarity with tax preparation and research software. It is primarily remote but limited to candidates within commuting distance of Phoenix, Arizona, with occasional in-person attendance.

Supports accounting and finance teams by monitoring Oracle financial-system interfaces, resolving errors, analyzing data, and producing financial reports. Partners with IT and business stakeholders on system enhancements, upgrades, testing, documentation, SOX controls, and process improvements. Uses SQL and Oracle reporting tools to analyze financial data, administer reconciliation and cash-management functionality, train users, and lead cross-functional projects.

Supports strategic initiatives and business transformation by documenting and redesigning processes, coordinating project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables, and providing change-management guidance. Analyzes financial metrics, risks, adoption, and performance measures across the strategic initiative portfolio. Partners with functional leaders and internal stakeholders to support decision-making, project execution, reporting, and organizational transitions.

Processes and audits accurate payroll for unionized, multi-state employees covered by numerous collective bargaining agreements. Calculates and reports union benefits, pension, 401K, dues, deductions, overtime premiums, retroactive pay, and special payments. Interprets CBAs, prepares payroll reports, maintains confidential payroll data, collaborates with HR and payroll teams, and supports payroll system testing, configuration, and knowledge transfer.

Supervises customer resource representatives and oversees customer service operations. Responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching, performance management, quality assurance, escalated issue resolution, operational monitoring, data analysis, and action planning. The role also manages team system access, supports employee engagement, and coordinates with Sales, Operations, and Accounting to resolve customer concerns.

Lead area market strategy and business development, including acquisitions, divestitures, and privatizations. Perform financial and capital investment analysis, negotiate transactions, manage due diligence and integration, oversee infrastructure and real estate projects (landfills, transfer stations, recycling centers), lead cross-functional teams, and coordinate with market and corporate leaders. Requires travel around 30%.
