Territory sales role selling Sparklight broadband and voice services to small and mid-sized businesses. Prospect and qualify leads via phone and in-person visits, customize solutions, own the full sales cycle, partner with property managers and internal teams, build lasting relationships, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

Designs and updates broadband HFC and fiber outside-plant systems, including extensions, upgrades, redesigns, as-builts, construction packets, fiber splicing matrices, and Lightpath circuits. Uses CAD, GIS, ESRI, and Schneider software while coordinating with technical operations, construction, and engineering teams. Ensures designs meet company standards, supports fiber availability and reinforcement decisions, and manages multiple projects accurately.

Retain and renew existing small and medium-sized business customers by addressing dissatisfaction, resolving service concerns, and recommending Cable One voice and broadband solutions. The representative handles cancellation calls, follows up with subscribers, renews contracts, upsells services, and collaborates with internal departments to answer questions and resolve issues.

Sell broadband and voice solutions to small and mid-market businesses. Prospect and qualify leads through phone, door-to-door, and other outreach; manage the full sales cycle; build customer relationships; resolve issues; identify upgrade and revenue opportunities; and consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets.

Deploy, upgrade, and maintain High-Speed Data infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, DOCSIS). Administer CentOS/RHEL systems, automate with Python/Ansible/Shell, troubleshoot escalations, create LLDs, run upgrades, train teams, perform on-call duties, and ensure security and high availability.

Prospect, qualify, and close new B2B sales opportunities for broadband and voice solutions. Manage the full sales cycle through phone outreach, door-to-door visits, presentations, and negotiations. Develops and manages enterprise B2B telecom sales pipelines, consults with business clients, drives complex sales cycles, expands accounts, meets quotas, and collaborates with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.

As a Business Account Executive at Sparklight, you will develop relationships with local businesses, present B2B telecommunication services, and achieve sales goals.

Creates, analyzes, edits, and maintains GIS data supporting fiber and HFC network planning, design, construction, and regulatory map updates. Uses ArcGIS and ArcFM to manage geodatabases, spatial datasets, parcel data, route assets, and network schematics. Conducts map research, interprets technical records, supports GIS projects, develops mapping standards, and responds to internal requests. Collaborates with legal, market expansion, engineering, construction, and design teams while ensuring geospatial data quality and alignment with GIS best practices.

Provides technical sales leadership and solution design for managed connectivity and data services in hospitality, MDU, student housing, senior living, and other property environments. Leads customer discovery, network and Wi-Fi design, site assessments, technical presentations, proposal support, documentation, sales enablement, and implementation handoffs. Partners with sales, engineering, construction, product, operations, and project teams to deliver practical, scalable connected-property solutions.
