The Manager Designate assists the General Manager in ensuring compliance with product and service standards, managing sales and profit goals, and maintaining inventory levels while fostering a team-oriented environment.

The Manager Designate supports the General Manager to uphold company standards in product quality and customer service, manages shifts, and drives sales and profit goals while ensuring compliance with laws and operational procedures.

Support external financial reporting for a publicly traded restaurant company, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K, earnings releases, SEC filings, supporting schedules, audits, technical accounting research, and U.S. GAAP policy development. The role also assists with new accounting standard implementation, stakeholder training, debt covenant calculations, investor presentations, and management certifications. Strong communication, analytical, technical accounting, SEC reporting, and internal controls expertise are required.

Leads external financial reporting, SEC filings, technical accounting research, U.S. GAAP application, accounting policy development, and adoption of new accounting standards. Partners with auditors and cross-functional stakeholders on complex transactions, acquisitions, controls, disclosures, and regulatory requirements. Prepares Audit Committee materials, earnings releases, management certifications, investor deliverables, and financial analyses while providing training and supporting organizational reporting accuracy.

Lead enterprise strategy and growth for Papa John’s third-party marketplace channels. Own joint business planning, aggregator contract negotiations, and multi-million dollar precision marketing. Build test-and-learn frameworks, optimize storefronts and conversion, coach franchise/DMA leaders, monitor performance metrics, and integrate cross-functionally with marketing, tech, operations, and finance to drive profitable incremental order growth.
