The Developer Relations Engineer will drive developer awareness and adoption through content production, events, community engagement, and onboarding improvements, while showcasing Box's AI-driven content solutions.

Manage full sales cycle for SMB customers (1-500 employees): prospect, conduct discovery and demos, negotiate and close deals. Research prospects, develop territory plans, influence stakeholders, build pipeline, meet KPIs, and conduct face-to-face customer visits within assigned territory.

Design and own Box's job architecture and career frameworks, build leveling criteria and career ladders, analyze organizational data to identify opportunities, partner with HR, Comp, and Legal to pilot and drive adoption, and lead talent and org development programs from design through rollout and iteration.

Identify and qualify outbound sales opportunities for Mid-Market and Enterprise Account Executives through phone and email outreach, research target accounts, schedule meetings, track leads in Salesforce, and collaborate cross-functionally to create new business.

Own end-to-end monthly commission calculations and validations across global GTM roles. Reconcile data from Salesforce, Workday, and other sources; build robust Excel models. Manage monthly workflows, stakeholder communications, and approvals. Troubleshoot exceptions, build forecast/scenario models, calculate new-hire quota proration, and document SOPs and audit trails. Drive process improvements and automation opportunities to ensure accurate, timely payouts.

Lead the roadmap for events, signaling, and asynchronous processing across internal and external use cases. Drive product discovery, define specs and success metrics, improve system efficiency, partner with architects and engineering, establish performance instrumentation and reporting, externalize developer-facing eventing capabilities, and coordinate cross-site execution to deliver measurable platform outcomes.

Lead Box's ISO 42001 AIMS certification and build the AIMS program. Plan and execute external audits, assess AI governance and controls, remediate gaps, work cross-functionally across security and compliance frameworks, and communicate compliance posture to stakeholders.

Lead design and rollout of job architecture, leveling, and career frameworks. Analyze organizational data (attrition, spans, capability gaps) to recommend structural changes. Partner with HR, compensation, legal, and business leaders to pilot and scale frameworks. Design and iterate talent and org development programs, applying job analysis expertise to an AI-reshaped workforce.

Lead design and implementation of Box's job architecture and career frameworks. Analyze organizational data to identify capability gaps and redesign leveling, job families, and career ladders. Partner with HR, Compensation, Legal, and business leaders to pilot, roll out, and iterate programs. Apply job-analysis and leveling expertise to an AI-augmented workforce and own additional talent and org development initiatives end-to-end.

Lead and run Box's ISO AIMS (ISO 42001) certification program: create and assess AI governance, execute external audits, remediate control gaps, maintain auditor relationships, and align compliance across frameworks (ISO, PCI, SOC, NIST). Communicate compliance posture and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.
