Design and upgrade turbine and driven-equipment control systems; produce electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and interconnect schedules; develop PLC (PLC5/RSLogix) and HMI software; support project management, manufacturing, testing, HAZOPS, commissioning, and field support.

Design and develop package systems for industrial gas turbine products from concept through production. Creates mechanical interface drawings, bills of materials, and production drawings while coordinating with purchasing, suppliers, production, customers, and other engineering teams. Applies structural and systems analysis, resolves field technical issues, supports multiple projects, and contributes to Lean and process-improvement initiatives.

Provides comprehensive office and administrative support for multiple managers. Responsibilities include preparing communications, meeting minutes, and presentations; arranging domestic and international travel; processing expenses and charge card reconciliations; coordinating meetings and events; operating office equipment; distributing correspondence; managing office supplies; and working with purchase orders and acquisition requests.

Support facility sourcing by developing and maintaining supplier roadmaps, conducting market intelligence, assessing supplier capacity and risks, collaborating cross-functionally, and driving continuous improvement in supplier performance, resilience, and cost savings.

Leads an indirect procurement team of 8–10 buyers across manufacturing and regional facility categories. Develops sourcing and supplier strategies, negotiates complex contracts, improves quality, delivery, cost, and supply resiliency, and manages long-term supplier relationships. Partners with manufacturing, facility engineering, maintenance, and EHS stakeholders while ensuring compliant purchasing execution and ethical leadership.

Participate in a structured engineering rotation program supporting new product introduction and technology development. Complete four- to six-month rotations across departments including mechanical design, combustion, heat transfer, compressor and turbine aerodynamics, materials, testing, performance, aftermarket engineering, and customer services. Build technical and gas turbine product knowledge, gain enterprise perspective, develop professional networks, and transition into a long-term NPI or technology engineering assignment.

Participate in a two- to three-rotation engineering program focused on turbomachinery technology and new product introduction. Responsibilities may include gas turbine aerodynamics, performance analysis, heat transfer, combustion, additive manufacturing technology, or engineering data science. Engineers will design and analyze turbine components, develop simulations and models, assess test data, optimize performance and durability, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The role requires onsite work in San Diego five days per week and relocation.

Designs and develops turbine blades for new gas turbine engines, performing structural and modal analysis, coordinating with aero, heat transfer, materials, manufacturing, and suppliers. Leads design reviews, supports tooling and hardware release, improves design methods, provides manufacturing disposition support, and validates blade performance during development and early production testing.
