Identify and implement manufacturing process and equipment improvements to improve quality, speed, cost. Execute manufacturing tasks per SOPs, document data, troubleshoot issues, and provide engineering support for planning, operation, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.

Entry-level controls engineer designs electrical hardware and control systems for gas turbines, generators, and compressors. Produces electrical schematics and PLC ladder logic, conducts software testing and simulation, coordinates with customers and manufacturing, supports commissioning and field service, and participates in design reviews and HAZOPs.

Support manufacturing process analysis and continuous improvement by executing SOPs, documenting data, troubleshooting, and providing engineering support for equipment, processes, and facilities. Participate in process enhancements, implement improvements, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Support facility sourcing for sand castings by developing supply chain solutions, evaluating suppliers, analyzing data to improve cost and inventory, negotiating contracts, and implementing best practices across procurement and internal partners.

Design and analyze gas turbine flow paths and airfoils, develop analytical tools/software, collaborate with mechanical, heat transfer and performance teams, support engine programs, testing, and resolution of durability/manufacturing/field issues, and maintain design methods and tools.

Lead development and implementation of NDE/NDT inspection processes for cast and forged compressor components, partner with suppliers and supply chain to improve inspection methods, review and update NDE documentation and drawings, evaluate supplier results, accept/reject nonconforming parts, and drive corrective actions across manufacturing sites.

Design turbo machinery mechanical systems including P&IDs, specify and size valves, coolers, motors, and piping, update parts and BOMs, support production and field commissioning, coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams, and participate in HAZOP and customer review meetings. Requires basic fluids/thermodynamics knowledge and strong communication and time-management skills.

Manage purchased material requirements and MRP/BAAN planning to ensure on-time availability. Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and production on capacity, shortages, and schedule changes. Maintain planning data, support NPI and change implementation, handle drop-ship logistics, and participate in cost/lead-time/inventory reduction and continuous improvement projects.

Design and document tooling: interpret orders, develop tooling concepts, create manufacturing drawings in Creo, perform basic FEA with Ansys Workbench, apply GD&T, support production and fabrication, perform Make-Buy analysis, research materials, and troubleshoot tooling issues.

Lead a centralized GSC Services organization to standardize supply chain processes, govern master data and systems, drive supplier performance and compliance, enable analytics and ERP/Coupa adoption, manage cross-functional projects, and develop a high-performing team to support global supply chain operations.
