Evaluates damaged and nonconforming aircraft hardware, develops repair and rework dispositions, creates technical instructions, and maintains configuration-controlled MRB records. Partners with engineering, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and sustainment teams on field returns, production escapes, supplier issues, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions. Integrate sensors, communications, navigation, autonomy, and mission systems with hardware and systems teams. Lead verification across simulation, laboratory, flight-test, and deployed environments while supporting requirements traceability, certification, cybersecurity, resilience, and lifecycle technical ownership.

Software Engineer Interns design, build, test, and debug production-quality software for autonomous systems. Projects may involve applications, embedded flight software, firmware, machine learning, simulation, APIs, data pipelines, or cloud infrastructure. Interns analyze requirements, collaborate with engineers using Agile practices, and deliver real features or capabilities during a 10–12 week paid internship.

Design, deploy, and maintain resilient hybrid network infrastructure across data centers, remote sites, and public clouds. Manage routing, switching, WLAN, firewalls, WAN, VPN, secure connectivity, network automation, capacity planning, monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation. Collaborate with cloud, platform, security, and infrastructure teams, engage vendors, document operations, mentor teams, participate in on-call rotations, and support classified and unclassified environments.

Design and integrate aircraft configurations for autonomous UAVs, including aerodynamic, structural, propulsion, and mission-system trade studies. Develop CAD models, perform basic FEA, CFD, and weight-balance analyses, support prototyping and wind-tunnel testing, and contribute to requirements, verification, manufacturing transition, and production efforts.

Develop future concepts and mission-oriented use cases for Hivemind autonomous systems across air, space, land, and maritime domains. Translate customer needs and technology trends into concept studies, models, analyses, white papers, proposals, and technical briefings. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and go-to-market teams, monitor aerospace and defense developments, and support customer engagements through travel and presentations.

Lead flight-critical power electronics design for V-BAT aircraft from concept through production. Responsibilities include designing high- and low-voltage systems, inverters, DC-DC converters, battery management, PCBs, and power subsystems; conducting modeling, simulation, testing, validation, and debugging; leading design reviews and cross-functional development; mentoring engineers; and managing technical milestones, manufacturability, safety, reliability, and aircraft integration.

Conducts setup, operation, troubleshooting, and analysis of battery energy storage tests for the X-BAT aircraft. Configures thermal chambers, battery cyclers, instrumentation, sensors, fixtures, harnesses, and data-acquisition systems. Executes electrochemical subsystem test campaigns, evaluates performance and abnormal behavior, supports qualification testing across environmental conditions, and assists with battery lab development. Collaborates with power systems and cross-functional engineering teams on verification, integration, and qualification.
