Lead mechanical design of rugged, deployable Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for next-generation UAS. Create CAD models and drawings, perform structural/thermal/fatigue analyses, run trade studies, oversee prototyping and testing, develop technical documentation, collaborate with manufacturing/suppliers, and support flight test campaigns to meet military and aviation standards.

Design and develop liquid cooling and hydraulic systems for a jet-engine VTOL UAV. Own component and system design, supplier engagement, analysis and sizing, testing, and support for ground and flight test activities.

Integrate autonomy software onto unmanned aircraft, prepare and validate flight-ready systems, support on-site flight tests, debug hardware/software interactions, capture and analyze flight data, collaborate with autonomy/GNC/systems teams, and support certification and compliance. Frequent travel (~30-40%) for field tests.

Develop and maintain Python-based analytics, automated test orchestration, and scenario-generation pipelines for autonomy simulation. Build adapters in C++/Python, analyze logs/rosbags, deploy distributed orchestration with Terraform/Kubernetes, and create telemetry ingestion and reporting frameworks to validate AI Pilot behaviors across secure and commercial environments.

Design and implement tactical autonomy algorithms and high-performance software for unmanned air/land/sea platforms. Build behavior architectures, integrate classical and learning-based methods, run simulations and field tests, analyze mission data, and support defense programs and deployments.

Lead supplier development for machined parts: audit and improve supplier processes, perform on-site quality investigations, support NPI, provide technical guidance on specifications and manufacturing, monitor supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks to enable scalable aerospace production.

Design and validate power electronics for X-BAT aircraft including DC-DC converters, inverters, motor controllers, and battery systems. Perform schematic capture, simulation, prototyping, board bring-up, testing, EMI/EMC mitigation, and support flight-test and qualification. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow disciplined engineering and documentation practices under senior mentorship.
