Lead materials planning, inventory strategy, and logistics for development programs and a greenfield manufacturing facility. Drive integration of autonomy software (mission behaviors, VTOL transitions, multi-agent coordination), collaborate tightly with aircraft, perception, and capability teams, run ICDs and field tests, and support live exercises and deployments (20–30% travel).

Lead design, analysis, and integration of avionics thermal management for unmanned aircraft. Develop and validate analytical, numerical, and CFD models, plan and run thermal tests, correlate data, advise PCBA and electrical design, and present technical findings while mentoring peers and driving robust thermal solutions.

Assemble, instrument, and test large-scale aerospace prototypes and flight hardware. Fabricate fixtures and machine parts, install strain gauges and sensors, integrate DAQ, perform static and dynamic mechanical tests, document results, and maintain shop and inventory. Support prototyping, repairs, and improvements to testing and fabrication processes.

Lead flying qualities analysis and flight test efforts for the X-BAT: coordinate cross-disciplinary test plans, integrate air data systems, validate and update aerodynamic models (6DOF), support wind tunnel testing, develop analysis/plotting/simulation tools, and drive certification through integrated test execution.

Lead and grow a team of autonomy engineers to stand up autonomy on novel platforms (space, maritime, rotorcraft), own delivery from design through fielding, write and integrate latency-sensitive autonomy code, coordinate with platform and cross-functional teams, support live tests and deployments, and evolve R&D efforts into longer-term programs.
