Lead end-to-end mechanical design for battery and power distribution hardware from requirements through production. Design enclosures, busbars, and housings to meet structural, thermal, EMI, and manufacturability requirements; perform analyses (FEA, tolerance stacks, hand calculations), create production CAD and drawings, develop and execute verification tests, qualify suppliers, and provide technical leadership or mentorship.

Lead development and ownership of operational standards and an objective evaluation system for flight operations and fleet supervision. Translate regulations, safety policy, and technical capabilities into measurable criteria, audits, metrics, training, and controlled documentation. Drive roadmap with Finance, deliver measurable reconciliation and close-time improvements, ensure correctness for payments and inventory costing, and be a hands‑on manager shipping code and technical designs.

Own end-to-end commodity strategy and supplier performance for mission-critical hardware. Lead sourcing, supplier selection, contracts, qualification, ramp-to-volume, cost-down, risk mitigation, and supplier dispute resolution. Integrate with engineering and operations, set measurable targets (cost, OTD, PPM), run supplier audits and QBRs, and travel to supplier sites for on-site engagement and recovery.

Build and maintain event-driven backend and full-stack systems that convert operational events into auditable financial records. Implement billing, settlements, reconciliation, ERP integrations, and reliable APIs with strong focus on idempotency, ordering, failure recovery, and financial correctness. Partner with finance and domain teams, automate manual workflows, own observability and production runbooks, and mentor engineers while participating in on-call rotations.

Own material and asset flow for maintenance hubs: receive and inspect inbound shipments, maintain inventory accuracy via ERP and cycle counts, kit and stage materials, manage asset accountability and vehicle readiness, coordinate shipments, and improve material flow and procedures through data-driven problem solving.

Design, train, and deploy large-scale computer vision and perception models (semantic segmentation, 4D geometry, preference models) for cloud and on-prem systems. Build data pipelines, annotation and evaluation tooling, validate models for field reliability, and ship production-grade features frequently. Senior roles lead architecture and experimentation; Staff roles own roadmaps for offboard perception models.

Lead structural analysis for Zipline aircraft: own and validate GFEM/DFEMs, perform rapid hand calculations and FEM studies, support certification and test correlation, lead failure investigations, mentor contributors, and support field/flight tests to improve reliability, mass, and fleet availability.

Support global sourcing and supplier management through tracking supplier performance, preparing reports and dashboards, gathering quotes, conducting supplier research, troubleshooting supply issues, participating in supplier meetings, and documenting processes to standardize and scale supply chain operations.
