Drive manufacturability reviews, APQP/DFMEA/PFMEA activities, MRL and UPC cost models, DFx and RTY improvement, supplier readiness, tooling/capital identification, production transitions, and program milestone delivery while working on-site in Phoenix, AZ with cross-functional IPTs.

Lead hands-on mechanical engineering projects for aircraft wheel and brake systems. Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, manage schedules/costs, improve designs for producibility, and support commercial and military program development from concept through qualification and production.

Design, develop, and integrate complex avionics with emphasis on automatic flight control systems for fixed-wing, rotorcraft, and UAM/UAS. Perform requirements analysis, model-based systems development, validation and verification, lifecycle activities from business development to EOL, and engage with customers to gather requirements and feedback.

Conduct human factors R&D for aerospace flight decks: design and run experiments and usability studies, analyze quantitative data, collaborate with engineers, pilots, and regulators, support certification and safety requirements, contribute to human-centered design, write proposals, patents, and publications, and work on government research contracts.

Develop and validate flight control laws for eVTOL/AAM vehicles: derive requirements with customers, perform simulation, modeling and analysis, implement and troubleshoot control algorithms, execute integration and flight test validation, support certification activities, and collaborate cross-functionally on system-level requirements and software integration. Occasional customer-facing travel for requirements development and on-site testing.
