Lead the technical direction and delivery of Fanatics’ core platform, including AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and developer tooling. Own complex multi-quarter initiatives, improve reliability and scalability, support incident response, establish engineering standards, mentor engineers, and partner across teams to deliver secure, high-performing cloud-native systems.

Lead Fanatics Core’s international market expansion programs from assessment through launch and stabilization. Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into technical plans, coordinate Engineering, Product, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, vendors, and regulators, and build repeatable launch processes. Drive platform readiness for regional payments, data residency, localization, tax, and reporting. Establish launch criteria, cutover and hypercare plans, track KPIs, manage risks, communicate with executives, and mentor other technical program managers.

Design, build, operate, and scale production-grade Go services and APIs, with supporting TypeScript and React front ends. Own technical designs, lead architecture and code reviews, mentor engineers, improve reliability and performance, participate in on-call operations, and drive projects across teams. Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to shape platform roadmaps and engineering standards for Fanatics’ loyalty, identity, and shared-platform ecosystem.

Manages sportsbook risk across pricing, liabilities, customer activity, and error detection. Leads operational shifts, assigns tasks, monitors betting and risk metrics, troubleshoots trading systems, tests sportsbook features, documents issues, and supports process improvements. Collaborates with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Commercial, and Operations teams to improve the betting experience. Requires flexible evening, weekend, and holiday scheduling and regular travel.

Designs and maintains scalable cloud platform services, Kubernetes environments, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, observability, and developer tooling. The role includes incident response, root cause analysis, reliability improvements, cross-team collaboration, technical planning, and mentoring engineers. Candidates should have strong backend and distributed-systems experience, AWS expertise, Terraform or CloudFormation experience, production Kubernetes experience, and familiarity with automation, observability, and operational support.

Own VIP acquisition strategy and growth for sportsbook and casino customers. Manage lead ingestion, enrichment, scoring, funnel expansion, contact planning, testing across offers and messaging, and acquisition reporting. Set targets, maintain dashboards, distinguish sportsbook and casino approaches, and partner with analytics teams and acquisition executives to turn data into performance improvements while supporting responsible gaming.

Leads VIP strategy and operations for acquiring, engaging, growing loyalty among, and retaining high-value customers. Partners with leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, build AI-enabled models and workflows, launch initiatives, and drive measurable outcomes. Requires strong data fluency, SQL or Python experience, technical problem-solving, cross-functional influence, executive communication, and sound judgment in a regulated responsible-gaming environment.

Supports VIP retention strategy and operations for sportsbook and casino hosting programs. Develops playbooks, processes, reporting, performance metrics, customer engagement insights, and leadership updates. Partners with host leadership, analytics, and product teams to test service approaches, improve tooling and AI-assisted workflows, and embed Responsible Gaming standards. Helps translate commercial strategies into actionable frontline plans while measuring retention and hosting performance.

Design, build, and operate high-throughput distributed systems for a real-money prediction and trading platform. Own Kafka-based event pipelines, low-latency data processing, scalability, reliability, and production issue resolution. Partner with product and engineering leadership on architecture and domain decisions, identify performance risks, and improve engineering standards through design documentation and code reviews.

Develop, test, document, and deploy mobile software for the Fanatics Sportsbook app. Build features using Kotlin Multiplatform and modern mobile UI frameworks, collaborate with product and design teams, participate in code reviews and Agile planning, support production through on-call troubleshooting, and contribute to software quality, operational excellence, and customer experience.
