Lead and grow a team of engineers building account and transaction history infrastructure. Perform end-to-end financial crime compliance audits: scope, testing, workpapers, reporting, and remediation validation. Partner with Compliance, Engineering, and Legal to identify control gaps, assess risk, recommend remediations, and verify closure. Use data analysis (SQL preferred) and maintain AML/sanctions regulatory knowledge. Manage multiple remote audit workstreams and stakeholder communication, applying responsible generative AI oversight where appropriate.

Design, build, and operate backend systems for prediction markets, including order management, trade matching, settlement, and market resolution. Architect distributed, low-latency systems with strict financial correctness, lead multi-quarter technical projects, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Risk to meet regulatory requirements.

Design, build, and operate the GraphQL API platform that routes high-volume traffic. Deliver end-to-end projects, improve reliability and performance, own SLOs and incident response, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product teams to evolve platform APIs and tooling.

Lead end-to-end design for Coinbase's CX products (Help Center, Chatbot, Voicebot, in-app Concierge). Define AI-powered support UX, build reusable pattern libraries, drive MVPs and future-state concepts, partner with product/engineering/operations, translate Concierge revenue goals into experience, and generate insights from customers and agents to improve automation and satisfaction.

Work with customers and sales as a technical advisor to design and build integration solutions on Coinbase services. Architect distributed systems, develop open-source SDKs and reference implementations, lead end-to-end customer implementations, deliver technical presentations, remove roadblocks, and collaborate with product and engineering to extend platform capabilities. Substantial hands-on coding required.
