The role also identifies automation opportunities and applies AI tools to improve sourcing, contract analysis, and operational workflows.

Build and maintain Cloudflare’s deployment platform, enabling safe, reliable, automated releases at global scale. Responsibilities include progressive deployments, health-mediated rollouts, release workflow automation, internal instrumentation, deployment tooling, and frontend and backend development. The role requires predictable delivery on fast-moving projects and may include after-hours on-call support.

Provide technical leadership for Cloudflare’s deployment platform, defining architecture and multi-quarter direction for safe, automated, health-mediated releases at massive scale. Lead RFCs, design reviews, incident retrospectives, technical migrations, and cross-team platform initiatives.
