Lead strategic account growth for SMDC by developing account strategy, building senior government relationships, shaping and capturing large defense opportunities, aligning internal teams, and driving pipeline, bookings, and revenue.

Support Independent Review Teams for major system acquisition milestones by applying foundational digital engineering and MBSE methods. Collaborates with contractors, government personnel, and U.S. Space Force stakeholders, leads technical working groups, identifies requirements gaps and risks, and prepares briefings, reports, and action items.

Designs and maintains large-scale analytic solutions using ECL and HPCC Systems. Develops data models, scalable ingestion and transformation workflows, and analytical methodologies for clustered and distributed computing environments. Uses Python, R, Pig, Java, C, and SQL for parallel data processing. Collaborates with engineers, analysts, and mission stakeholders while validating data quality, analytical methods, and outputs. Requires extensive experience supporting national security analytics.

Designs and develops mechanical components and integrated subsystems for high-energy laser defense platforms. Creates detailed CAD drawings, interprets engineering designs, calculates dimensions and material requirements, documents production methods, identifies operational and manufacturing issues, and ensures compliance with quality standards. Collaborates with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers in an active development lab and supports complex drafting and design projects.

Provides senior commercial oversight for contracts, managing commercial strategy, risk, customer relationships, contractual obligations, variations, pricing, change events, revenue recognition, cost control, forecasting, audits, and governance. Supports project delivery teams and guides other commercial managers while ensuring compliance, profitability, and continuous process improvement.

Provides second-tier IT technical support, troubleshooting, testing, training, installation, configuration, and fielding assistance for designated systems. Maintains network stability, resolves incidents, supports customer requirements, and collaborates with developers and engineers to reduce recurring issues. The role is onsite in Maryland, requires work outside normal hours, frequent customer-site travel up to 50% CONUS and OCONUS, and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
