Provide technical leadership for spacecraft subsystem design, integration, testing, and delivery supporting the U.S. Space Force's secure SATCOM mission. Lead mechanical, electrical, or test trades; ensure spacecraft, ground, and terminal interfaces; support component, unit, and space vehicle qualification testing; develop test plans and reports; and coordinate with government customers, contractors, and FFRDC partners. The role is fully onsite at LAAFB and requires an active Secret clearance with approximately 10% travel.

Leads cryptographic engineering for space and ground satellite communications systems supporting the U.S. Space Force. Responsibilities include crypto unit trade studies, technical design, hardware and firmware integration, testing and verification, secure key management, requirements traceability, lifecycle management, and compliance with cybersecurity standards. The role interfaces with government and industry partners, contributes to design reviews, mentors engineers, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with extensive systems engineering and cryptography experience.

Supports Air Force and Department of Defense customers by reverse-engineering obsolete airborne and ground systems. Creates and reviews electrical schematics, interprets designs and standards, performs electrical engineering analyses, develops technical documentation, and works in laboratory environments to fabricate, operate, install, or repair electrical products. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, at least two years of related experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Support PATRIOT missile flight-test programs for the Lower Tier Interceptor, including test-plan development, coordination, range scheduling, technical monitoring, mission reporting, post-mission analysis, and test-history database maintenance. Serve as a PATRIOT test subject-matter expert and working-group lead, develop qualification plans, assess hardware compliance, support missile firings, and advise government customers on emerging requirements and obsolescence mitigation. Travel up to 25% CONUS and OCONUS.

Conducts field assessments, surveillance, quality assurance, and reliability engineering for defense programs. Analyzes system performance data, identifies reliability trends, prepares technical reports, troubleshoots issues, maintains compliant documentation, and recommends engineering improvements. Collaborates with engineering, logistics, program management, military, government, and customer stakeholders while supporting safety, regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and mission readiness.

Provides systems engineering and analytical support for national security space decisions. Integrates intelligence with engineering analysis, modeling, and simulation to assess foreign space and counterspace capabilities, mission architectures, resiliency, and technical risk. Develops M&S cases, translates intelligence into requirements and performance measures, supports test and evaluation planning, and produces technical assessments and briefings. Coordinates with DoD, Intelligence Community, Space Force, and other mission stakeholders across the acquisition lifecycle.

Leads complex EPC projects valued up to $500 million from proposal through closeout. Oversees scope, schedule, budget, quality, HSE, risk, financial performance, client relationships, contract changes, and multidisciplinary project teams. Serves as the primary client interface and ensures safe, profitable, compliant, and successful project delivery.

Designs and specifies industrial electrical systems, including power distribution, cabling, lighting, motor control centers, communications, grounding, lightning protection, cathodic protection, and heat tracing. Prepares calculations, studies, specifications, reports, and design packages; provides technical guidance to junior staff; coordinates with clients and stakeholders; supports equipment purchasing; and may lead electrical scopes on projects. Requires site and supplier-factory travel, primarily within domestic locations with possible international assignments.

Leads end-to-end development of complex government proposals, from RFP analysis through submission. Manages schedules, resources, contributors, and cross-functional collaboration; writes, edits, and reviews compliant, compelling content; ensures quality and alignment with capture strategy; engages business development and operations teams; and maintains reusable proposal knowledge and templates.

Leads FEMA contract execution, task orders, disaster recovery operations, workforce mobilization, budgeting, risk management, quality assurance, and stakeholder governance. Oversees geographically dispersed teams and nationwide surge deployments, including monitoring and evaluation activities, data collection, validation, analysis, reporting, and visualization. Ensures compliance with FEMA policies, federal regulations, contract standards, safety requirements, and performance metrics. Supports emergency activations and operations in remote or austere environments.
