Oversee customer-related quality assurance for refractory and alloy metals used in semiconductor and aerospace applications. Serve as HR business partner for a ~80-employee manufacturing site. Lead staffing, performance management, talent development, employee relations, apprenticeship and career ladder programs, succession planning, and HR continuous improvement while advising leadership and ensuring compliance.

Develop, implement, and optimize metallurgical manufacturing processes (melting, casting, forming). Analyze production data, lead root-cause investigations, support product introductions, maintain documentation, drive Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvements, train operators, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while improving KPIs for quality, yield, throughput, and cost.

Lead strategic planning and execution of manufacturing capital projects (CapEx) from concept through commissioning. Manage budgets, AFE approvals, timelines, risks, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders. Mentor junior project managers, track KPIs, and present project and financial updates to senior management while ensuring technical quality and continuous improvement.

Drive profitable sales growth for Materion Performance Alloys & Composites in the Northeast U.S. and Eastern Canada by prospecting, protecting key accounts, building capture plans, and delivering high-margin contracts in Defense, Space, and Nuclear markets. Maintain CRM and forecasts, coordinate internal stakeholders (quality, production, legal, contracting), support contract negotiations, and resolve receivables while continuously developing technical product knowledge (beryllium alloys, BeO ceramics, MMCs).
