Own the prioritization, roadmap, and product direction for core infrastructure teams. Translate engineering constraints, customer needs, and business priorities into outcome-focused decisions; conduct customer discovery; define requirements; coordinate across organizations; track reliability, cost, adoption, and developer productivity metrics; and partner on cloud economics, forecasting, vendor strategy, and infrastructure investments.

Partner with internal teams to identify automation opportunities, graduate prototypes into reliable systems, support production operations, enable non-engineering builders, and establish engineering standards. The role also includes technical hiring, mentoring, architecture, threat modeling, and selective application of LLMs and agentic workflows.

The Field Enablement Manager will design partner enablement frameworks, create certifications, manage training sessions, and collaborate cross-functionally for effective learning programs related to Benchling's AI platform.

The Field Enablement Manager will manage the Docebo LMS, design training programs, and ensure high-level performance for customer-facing teams at Benchling.

Build and productionize end-to-end AI agents that automate scientific workflows, including experiment design, data capture, analysis, and reporting. Responsibilities include developing joint business plans, building executive relationships, allocating resources, driving co-selling and pipeline generation, enabling partner teams, creating repeatable solutions, managing governance and escalations, and coordinating regional execution. The role also supports ecosystem expansion and cross-functional alignment across sales, services, customer success, legal, finance, product, engineering, and marketing.

Designs and oversees cloud integrations, automations, demos, and proof-of-concepts for enterprise biotech customers using Benchling’s developer platform. Partners with customer IT and development teams to understand scientific informatics environments, scope requirements, manage technical risks, and deliver scalable solutions. Collaborates with product, engineering, and implementation teams on roadmaps, rollouts, documentation, and product gaps. Requires strong life sciences or technical expertise, consulting experience, Python and REST API skills, and clear communication.

Lead Benchling implementations for biotech and biopharma customers from kickoff through go-live. Manage project plans, requirements workshops, solution design, data modeling, configuration, testing, user acceptance testing, training, and onboarding. Serve as a trusted scientific and product advisor, advocate for customer needs, develop training materials, and identify post-launch expansion opportunities.
