Maintain accurate Salesforce records and collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success. The role requires life sciences knowledge, strong communication, sales discipline, and the ability to build new business in a hybrid environment.

Launch Benchling’s Decision Support AI offering by conducting outbound outreach to customer directors and VPs, delivering product demos, leading workshops, refining messaging, and creating sales collateral. The role will test and scale new AI go-to-market motions, develop repeatable playbooks, and influence the broader field team. Success requires independently managing outbound and demos within six months, presenting confidently to executives, and operating effectively in an ambiguous, evolving environment.

Provides primary on-site technology support for the Boston office and remote teams. Responsibilities include Tier 1 helpdesk support, SaaS administration, IT asset management, device lifecycle management, onboarding, AV and network troubleshooting, SLA monitoring, documentation, and participation in identity, endpoint, security, and technology operations projects. The role also provides occasional EMEA coverage and partners with Workplace, Security, and Engineering teams.

Build and maintain full-stack features for Benchling’s workflow engine, recipes, assays, and related life sciences products. Develop backend services, frontend interfaces, workflow data models, and AI-enabled functionality. Collaborate with engineering, product, design, and AI teams; write tested and documented code; participate in code reviews and on-call support; and work onsite in San Francisco three days per week.

Serve as the primary technical account contact for enterprise life sciences customers after go-live. Manage Success Package delivery, customer relationships, escalations, adoption risks, Benchling tenant configuration, and optimization projects. Develop project plans, coordinate with Customer Success, Professional Services, Support, and Sales, and advise stakeholders ranging from scientists to executives. Maintain product expertise and execute sprint-based accelerators that improve customer workflows and platform usage.

Leads a regional product support team, overseeing staffing, coaching, escalations, incident management, customer communications, and support operations. Partners cross-functionally to improve incident processes, analyze support metrics, maintain product knowledge, and adopt AI tools that improve efficiency. Represents Support in customer-facing settings and helps build scalable enterprise support practices.

The Financial Analyst supports the Sales organization through budgeting, forecasting, commission calculations, and financial performance analysis, while driving strategic initiatives and ad-hoc projects.

Own the direction and roadmap for Benchling’s Schemas platform, including schema types, computed fields, fieldsets, constraints, static properties, and data versioning. Develop customer personas and jobs-to-be-done, translate customer needs into product requirements, and partner with Engineering, Design, Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing, and other product teams. Champion structured data as the foundation for AI capabilities while balancing platform stability with incremental delivery.
