As a Systems Engineer, you will lead a technical team on product development, focusing on system architecture, requirements management, and verification testing for defense programs.

Oversee a team of software engineers, ensuring effective collaboration, performance management, and delivery of software solutions. Manage program execution and support recruitment efforts.

The role focuses on ensuring compliance with customer requirements in product repair, managing customer communication, and supporting operational execution to enhance customer satisfaction.

Lead hardware design for high-reliability avionics electronics, including electronics enclosures, CCAs/PWBs, and mechanical packaging. Develop and execute environmental and qualification test plans, ensure designs meet aircraft environmental and reliability requirements, collaborate with manufacturing and stakeholders, support proposal concept designs, and mentor/lead teams in a fast-paced schedule-driven environment.

Perform system safety analyses and establish safety requirements for systems, equipment, and procedures. Develop MIL-STD-882E safety documentation (SSPP, SAR, software safety analyses), track hazards in HTS, audit operations, support accident investigations, and collaborate across IPTs. Communicate with leadership and customers and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Lead production hardware engineering for RF/microwave and digital products: support yield and affordability improvements, troubleshoot assembly/test issues, manage hardware team and subcontractors, and sustain complex microwave modules, circuit card assemblies, and subsystems in a production environment.

Perform end-to-end system and software testing for the DARC radar program, develop test plans/procedures, support fault detection/isolation/recovery, aggregate and analyze test data, assist test automation and system integration from subsystem to system level, and produce final acceptance test reporting while supporting an agile development team.

Support readiness and sustainment of USAF ICBM Weapon System by applying electrical engineering principles: review wiring diagrams, troubleshoot equipment, verify designs, prepare and review engineering documentation, recommend modifications, and work with multi-discipline teams to meet program schedules while following safety practices.

Lead and manage a team of electrical hardware engineers while also contributing technically to programs. Responsibilities include recruiting, mentoring, staffing, enforcing hardware development processes, conducting design reviews, hardware verification/integration, trade studies, and supporting production transition for DoD electronic warfare systems.

Design and implement anti-tamper security architectures and countermeasures, integrate hardware and software, develop firmware/cryptographic solutions, write system requirements, validate and verify systems, lead engineering teams, and work with model-based systems engineering tools and COTS security components.
