Represents Freedom Plaza at events while delivering professional, relationship-focused service to prospective residents, families, and community partners.

Directs marketing and sales for independent living residences, including occupancy development, annual marketing planning, advertising, referral development, events, lead generation, budgeting, CRM tracking, prospect follow-up, reporting, and team performance. The role leads Residency Counselors and marketing staff while partnering with community leadership to achieve sales and occupancy goals.

Leads core accounting operations and financial close governance, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant reporting. Oversees journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, accounting policies, internal controls, audits, and complex accounting judgments. Coordinates accounting Centers of Excellence, drives process improvements, manages stakeholder relationships, and leads hiring, coaching, performance management, and team development.

Supports corporate communications projects across internal communications, media relations, social media planning, campaigns, and content production. Collaborates with communications, HR, marketing, agencies, and organizational leaders while managing multiple projects. Manages daily accounting operations and supervises department staff. Responsibilities include general ledger analysis, journal entries, bank and investment reconciliations, fixed assets, construction-in-progress accounts, accounts payable and receivable, billing, audit schedules, budget support, Foundation accounting, and monthly BlackLine reconciliations.

Provides telephone and switchboard coverage, greets residents and visitors, manages visitor logs and packages, monitors security systems, prepares work orders and correspondence, and performs resident data entry and clerical tasks. Requires courteous communication, customer service, typing, Microsoft Office skills, multitasking, and availability for varied shifts and weekends.

Supports vendor research and relationship management, purchase order and invoice tracking, pricing analysis, cost-savings initiatives, dashboard creation, and strategic projects. The intern collaborates with leadership, participates in continuous improvement and professional development, and presents project outcomes to senior leadership at the end of the 12-week program.
