Manage multiple fabrication and automation projects from order entry through shipment, including schedules, budgets, procurement, production coordination, testing, delivery, and change orders. Serve as the primary customer contact, coordinate inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests, manage vendors and long-lead components, and resolve project risks. The role requires technical knowledge of industrial control systems, automation components, control panels, and power distribution equipment, along with engineering education and substantial project management experience.

Sources and evaluates suppliers, issues purchase and change orders, monitors vendor performance, expedites deliveries, coordinates source inspections, and manages material logistics and inventory control. Reviews BOMs, drawings, and schedules to align procurement with project and fabrication milestones. Tracks supplier documentation, resolves shipment discrepancies, supports cost control, and communicates material status and delivery risks to project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams.
